On June 28, 2013, the Company embarked on Phase I of a multi-disciplinary research & development project as a member of the Center for Hybrid Multicore Productivity Research (CHMPR), a National Science Foundation sponsored lab located at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).  It is anticipated that new technologies and applications developed through this Genotaur-CHMPR-NSF joint project will represent a new benchmark for human-computer, human-robot interactions and communication. Some of these technologies include Genetic algorithms, Evolutionary computation, Artificial neural networks, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality (AR) and new Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technologies for enhanced Electroencephalography (EEG).

The outcome of what we are producing comes from the intersection of two components…Our COMPUTATIONAL ENVIRONMENT in which we apply the emergent characteristics of advanced artificial intelligence, neuroscience and cognitive science…to interact with humans to create a more comprehensive, nuanced understanding and relationship with the SOCIAL ENVIRONMENTS in which those humans operate.   The intersection of these two things is what produces the transcendent phenomena that will become the work product of Genotaur…whether in advanced healthcare technology providing more accurate diagnoses, highly personalized treatment plans that lead to much improved patient outcomes, exciting new forms of digital entertainment, intelligent adaptive learning mentors, or powerful self-learning business applications… it has applicability to all of those dom
